Halloween FUN!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN! Kyson has always LOVED penguins in fact he took over 2 of lisa stuffed animals that are penguins and has claimed them as his own. I've always wanted him to be a penguin for halloween but every year i procrastinate so i can't find one i like. this year i got it early so he could get used to it. He had so much fun he really loved the idea that you carry a "purse" (yes he's around too many girls) and people tell you you are cute and give you candy. All you say is trick or treat and thank you! Its Great! i love my cute little penguin. He's growing up too fast

The Daycare Threw a Fun Halloween Party earlier this month. Now if you know Kyson he's pretty hard to get to go anywhere. Even if you pick him up and take him there he'll stay for second then go where he wants to go. So half the time i was stopping him from going up and getting another doughnut and the other half i was trying to point him in a new direction.

This is Him Jamming Out in the Sppoky Dance Room. He Didn't like it at first but then "thriller" came on and he wouldn't stop jumpin and shaking his bum.

We Managed to talk him into fishing for a cool Prize. Grandma Helped and he got a really cool skeleton!

Once he was in the fishing room he was done he went behind the fishing wall and started playing with the oven and plastic fruit...

All this fun stuff and kyson wants to pretend cook. All the teachers at the daycare thought it was cute. At one point they put cliped the end of the pole on kyson and he was the prize. I tried to convice the kid to take him home and he said "no way i have a little brother i don't want another one". It was Very Fun and with kyson... Always a Crazy Adventure.

Therapy Update

I have some more pictures I'll put up soon i hope but in the mean time i had to give the 2 people who read my blog a therapy update. IT WORKS Yes Kysons many forms of "therapy" are working. He isn't afraid of the blow dryer. He LOVES to Vacuum... We Have been getting him used to his Halloween costume and he loves that now. But i have to say the biggest accomplishment of all is he went for a ride with grandma on the TRACTOR!!! I'd say that is a pretty big deal for a kid who would literally run screaming and shaking when grandma had the Keys. After he rode the tractor he spent the rest of the night telling me how brave he was. HOORAY for Therapy

Pictures

So i haven't posted alot of pictures. Here's a Buch from the past year it has christmas through his birthday and some from last week!

So i finally imported all my pictures from my camera onto this computer... first things first... Kyson is officially 2. he's not completly aware of that concept but if you tell him to say "i'm 2" he usually does.
Because Lisa Moved to Florida before his birthday we decided to go all ace of cakes on his birthday cake (if you don't know what ace of cakes is... watch the food network or Google it they do the SWEETEST cakes EVER) So with not much planning and a lot of "oh crap lets freeze it, its falling over" we managed to get his cake finish. I think it turned out pretty sweet and Kyson loved to dig into it.

Short cuteness

i don't have much time but i just wanted to tell this quick story...
Kyson is now able to get out of his bed and room in the mornings. This moring as i was walking up stairs he's standing at the top of the stairs yelling down "mommy.... AWAKE!" i of course yelled back and came up stairs as i got within jumping distance he jumped to me and wrapped him arms around me (which if you know kyson is a rare thing usually he just lays his head on you and allows you to hug him he very rarely hugs back) i gave him a squeeze and he said to me "ohhh mommy i missed you!" i about died.

OK one more then i have to get back to work. Lisa left for texas then on to florida. Kyson and i miss her so much and she's only been gone a day. Anyways while she was trying to pack and do laundry kyson pretty much was attached to her. on Friday when i got home from work he was downstairs playing with lisa while she attempted to sort laundry. i walked down and heard lisa give him a big squeeze and say "OHH i love you kid"
and without even pausing kyson in mid squeeze said "I know."

I'll post picture soon i have a bunch from this summer and kyson's awsome early birthday cake!

THE NOTE

First i'd liketo say i'm sorry there isn't a lot of pictures i blog mostly at work when i have nothing to do and i don't have pictures at work... ok...

So anyone who has a kid in daycare or school has received some sort of note about their child. Most of the time the short notes are good and the long notes... well not so much.

Kyson has been a handful at daycare lately because he is the oldest in his class its time for him to be moved up to the 2 yr old class but there just isn't room right now. so notes lately have been things like "kyson climbed on the table and fell and chiped his tooth" or "Kyson was great but..."

When i picked him up from daycare one day i get a note on his chart. It was a long note so in my head i'm thinking "oh great what did he do now who did he bite or who's fingers got shut in the door he had to open..." I get in the car and read the note:

"It was so funny Kyson put his drink on the bench and walked away. a few steps he stop turned around and pointed to his cup 'stop right there cup don't move'.

I don't think i've ever laughed so hard.

The new word this week is… Therapy…

Yes kyson learns more than one word a week he comes up with new ones daily but this one just cracked me up. Therapy. He says it more like ER A PEE, but just the same it is hilarious. So why is my (almost) 2 year old saying therapy…
I’ve mentioned my kids a chicken right… WELL my mom has decided he just need to get used to those things he’s terrified of… So we’ve started therapy. It seems to be making progress.
We are starting out with the blow dryer and working our way up to tractor. So randomly we will take him into the bathrooms of the house (because he has to get used to all the blow dryers not just one) and turn on the blow dryer. It has become some sort of family event sometimes and I’m proud to say Kyson has worked his way up (with a lot of encouragement) to touching and sometimes holding the blow dryer. Vacuum Therapy seems to be working best. He got really brave and actually started vacuuming things. Now he has decided the vacuum isn’t that bad he even makes sure to say hi to the vacuum if the garage door is ever opened.
So last night Kyson was being his crazy self and while eating dinner mom asked him if he needed blow dryer therapy. He looked right up at her and said “noo no blow dryer therapy”. Then she asked about vacuum and tractor therapy and the same response… “Noo no vacuum therapy, no tractor therapy” for the rest of the night he would randomly remind me he did not want therapy that night. He likes to remind me of things like that just so I don’t even offer! Crazy Boy!
