The Terrible 2 Story

I feel like everyone has at least one really crazy 2yr old story. The one that makes you so mad but at the same time you laugh on the inside. Kyson is an amazing kid he gets a little "rotten rodney" sometimes but for the most part up until yesterday the stories were minor things like moon sand all over his room (with a kaden assist on that one) or coloring on the walls Very typical stuff.



Yesterday we got a New Dish HD turbo. My Mom and i were trying to get things figured out and set up. While we were trying to get the second remote to work Kyson was upstairs... Generally he's not being too naughty so we wern't too worried. We heard water running and thought he was just washing his hands in the bathroom or something. My mom went up stairs and discovered Kyson has opened the front door picked up the hose from the front poarch and decided to be like firemen and "shoot that water"... Right into our house. The entire front hall was SOAKED. My mom and i were both furious and of course Kyson got to go to time out for a good long time. about a quarter inch of water lined the tile on the entry from the front door to our island in our kitchen. the walls were wet... and some of the carpet in our front room. i've never heard of a 2 (almost 3) yr old kid doing something to that extreem before but maybe i haven't heard all the fun CRAZY 2 stories out there. I was so upset but at the same time i can't help but laugh. Kyson learned his lesson and about half way through cleaning up the mess you could hear him in his room yelling "mom i'm sorry i'm ready to listen now" He was a perfect angel for the rest of the night. Sat at the table and ate his dinner, didn't fight with me for bath time, and was pretty much an angel (for a 2 yr old) for the rest of the night.

Thats the Funny Kyson story. we're looking forward to Tiff and the boys comming saturday. I wish i had more pictures but if you haven't heard my purse was stolen last month and my camera was in my purse. I'm completly Bumbed out about it. So many Fun memories just gone. Everyone Upload your pictures from your camera now cause you never know whats going to happen. All in all Life is good.
Oh and i'm trying to sell my old broken down car and my scooter i have adds posted on KSL and Craigs List. If anyone happens to know anyone the car is a mazda 626 es v6 manual needs a new engine everything else was less than a year old on it when it blew (breaks tires radiator etc) $500 obo and the scooter run great needs a new Left side mirror $800 Obo.

Feels Good...

We had such a fun time with Tiffany Kaden and Kyle last week (Although a few times kyson asked me when jared was comming. he really does think jared is so cool) We went to the Z O O and rode the train and Kyson and Kaden Played better together than i think they ever have. BUT Kyson got so worn out form all the fun we had a pretty big battle weekend. Everything was a battle i was worried today was going to be the same way with the fit he threw in the car this morning on the way to daycare. And then something miraculous happened... Kyson Switch to his good personality. Suddenly i feel like a good mom again. I picked him up from daycare and had a special treat for him (a rootbeer from the gas station in his own special cup) then we came right home and he helped me take the garbage out to the curb cause that's his job. Then he ate ALL his dinner every last noodle. Then he got right into the bath no fighting and now its off to bed. I wish every night was this smooth then again if it was i guess motherhood wouldn't be such a battle i better run he just got out of the tub and is yelling at me CRYSTAL I'M DONE. man i love my kid and i glad he has nights like this to remind me!

I know i know i need to blog. i have lots of fun pictures of Disneyland and Jacobs wedding in Logan. i'm lame i know but after working all day then comming home wrestling with my kyson going through the same conversations (he's really big on NO 5 More mins Please!) when i finally get him in bed the idea of sitting down and uploading pictures onto my computer is just not appealing... Soon i hope

the "Orem mall"

in utah it snows... Alot so its cold and wet and who wants to go to a playground in wet cold snow. Hooray for the Orem Mall. They finally brought back the tree house and added an awesome dinosaur to play on to. Kyson Loves to go down the slide he even tries really hard to wait his turn. He was afraid of the Dino at first but now he's decided its pretty cool. Not as cool as the slide but you win some you loose some. we have lots of fun playing at the orem mall. And when he's done at the playground we can bum aorund the mall window shopping. It is a really fun saturday to go to the orem mall.

Provo Mall

Before the orem Mall Reopened the Play yard the Provo Mall was the place to go. They have the 50 cent rides that are perfect for 2 year old little boys. I used to think they were a waste of money but man alive kyson loves these rides. He can even put the money in the machine now so he just comes up and tells you what he's going to ride next you had him 50 cents and he's off. Its great he loves to ride the Jetplane

The Rocket ship is still a little scary for him. Kaden helped him like it but its never the first thing he runs to...

The Jeep is his Favorite. Because the Jeeps lets you ride with Simba. He always rides the jeep at least 2 times more if we let him. Its all he talks about "mom can we go to the Provo mall and ride the jeep with simba PLEASE" He's so crazy i love it!

new "traditions" and Christmas ... Late

yeah i know its January but oh well. Thanksgiving 08 was just Me Kyson and Grandma. We had a great time and just made what we liked. Kyson got to drink from a "special glass" that was the hit of the meal. After dinner my Mom Decided to "start a new tradition" that the grand kids have to give her a back massage when dinner was over and cleaned up. Kyson was so excited he thinks it is fun to play with the massager and likes to make grandma happy so it worked out well this year... lets see how it goes when he's older...

Christmas was a blast this year. Tiffany, Jared, Kaden and Kyle all came f rom texas. The first day they were here Kyson and Kaden were Best friends. They followed eachother around and had so much fun. Kyson learned Awsome new phrases like "stop Bugging me".

He got a kitchen for Christmas so now he has his very own microwave and oven and dishwasher to play with all he wants. Pretty Spoiled i think.

Halloween FUN!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN! Kyson has always LOVED penguins in fact he took over 2 of lisa stuffed animals that are penguins and has claimed them as his own. I've always wanted him to be a penguin for halloween but every year i procrastinate so i can't find one i like. this year i got it early so he could get used to it. He had so much fun he really loved the idea that you carry a "purse" (yes he's around too many girls) and people tell you you are cute and give you candy. All you say is trick or treat and thank you! Its Great! i love my cute little penguin. He's growing up too fast

The Daycare Threw a Fun Halloween Party earlier this month. Now if you know Kyson he's pretty hard to get to go anywhere. Even if you pick him up and take him there he'll stay for second then go where he wants to go. So half the time i was stopping him from going up and getting another doughnut and the other half i was trying to point him in a new direction.

This is Him Jamming Out in the Sppoky Dance Room. He Didn't like it at first but then "thriller" came on and he wouldn't stop jumpin and shaking his bum.

We Managed to talk him into fishing for a cool Prize. Grandma Helped and he got a really cool skeleton!

Once he was in the fishing room he was done he went behind the fishing wall and started playing with the oven and plastic fruit...

All this fun stuff and kyson wants to pretend cook. All the teachers at the daycare thought it was cute. At one point they put cliped the end of the pole on kyson and he was the prize. I tried to convice the kid to take him home and he said "no way i have a little brother i don't want another one". It was Very Fun and with kyson... Always a Crazy Adventure.
